Advanced Ad Tracking (PRO Version)
What's the difference between "click tracking" and "advanced ad tracking"?
Click tracking shows you how many clicks an individual link received. However, there's no easy way to know if the click came from a forum, PPC ad or your blog unless you create individual links for each location - and that can get overwhelming.
Advanced Ad Tracking allows you to organize your links into "sub-campaigns" so you can easily track every individual source of the clicks for your links - by far, the best way to maximize your time.
Using Advanced Ad Tracking makes it easy to see exactly how profitable an affiliate offer, or even your own product, really can be. Plus, you'll instantly know where most of your sales are coming from so you can focus your engery on getting more traffic from that source, or similar sources.
Let's say you are promoting a ClickBank offer and you want to promote the offer in four different places - an Ad on your blog (ad1) an Ad on a friends blog (ad2) an ezine published by your friend "John" and an ezine published by a fellow marketer "Dave". And, you want to see how many sales and how many clicks come from each of the three campaign placements..
You can easily do this using the sub-campaign feature.
Create a single affiliate link, called for example "cboffer". Your affiliate link will look like this:
http://www.yourdomain.com/go/cboffer.htm
You can now add sub-campaign text to the link to differentiate each of your three different options. Just add "_" (underscore) followed by the sub-campaign name to your affiliate link - and then use the resulting link in your ad.
For example, your blog link could be:
http://www.yourdomain.com/go/cboffer_ad1.htm
The other blog link could be:
http://www.yourdomain.com/go/cboffer_ad2.htm
Dave's ezine link could be:
http://www.yourdomain.com/go/cboffer_daves-ezine.htm
And John's ezine link could be:
http://www.yourdomain.com/go/cboffer_johns-ezine.htm
The first time any visitor clicks on one of these links, the script will determine that it's a new sub-campaign name for which there is no record - and will then create a new sub-campaign for it automatically.
SafeLinkCloaker PRO will automatically track all your sub-campaigns, keeping separate stats for each one. These will all be located under your main campaign that was titled "cboffer".
Here's an example screenshot of the sub-campaign stats for an affiliate link:
This feature makes it really easy to discover exactly which ads are generating a response.
